WARRANTY & CARE
Warranty coverage
We stand behind our workmanship. This page outlines what’s generally covered, what’s not, and how to keep your cabinetry looking and working its best over time.
What’s covered
- Workmanship: joinery, assembly, and installation defects
- Function: cabinet doors and drawers not operating as intended due to install or build issues
- Hardware issues: hinges or slides that fail under normal use due to manufacturer defects
- Finish defects: peeling or adhesion failure under normal household conditions
If something feels off, reach out early. Small adjustments are usually easier to review when caught quickly.
What isn’t covered
- Normal wear and tear, including minor dents, scratches, or dings over time
- Damage from water leaks, flooding, or standing moisture
- Damage from harsh cleaners, abrasives, or improper care
- Changes caused by temperature or humidity swings, including natural wood movement
- Work performed by others, including plumbing, electrical, stone, flooring, or other trades
- Site conditions outside our control, including out-of-plumb walls or shifting foundations
What wood movement means
Real wood responds to its environment. Seasonal humidity changes can cause subtle shifts, like a slight seam line, a door that needs a hinge adjustment, or small changes in grain and finish appearance.
Normal / expected
- Minor seasonal expansion or contraction
- Small changes in grain appearance
- Light finish patina over time
- Occasional door or hinge adjustment as the home settles
Not normal – let us know
- Doors or drawers that bind hard or won’t close
- Hardware failures under normal use
- Finish peeling, cracking, or adhesion failure
- Fasteners backing out repeatedly
Care & cleaning
Keep it simple: gentle cleaning, quick wipe-ups, and no harsh chemicals.
Do
- Use a soft microfiber cloth
- Clean with mild soap and water, then dry the surface
- Wipe spills promptly, especially around sinks
- Use a damp cloth for fingerprints and smudges
Don’t
- No bleach, ammonia, or strong solvents
- No abrasive pads or scrubbers
- No harsh degreasers or strong all-purpose cleaners
- No soaking or leaving standing water on surfaces
Hardware and adjustments
Hinges and slides are built for daily use. Over time, it can be normal for doors or drawers to need a small alignment adjustment, especially as a home settles.
